Its been a busy week.

My initial days at REMAX have been incredibly dynamic. I'm pleased with my decision to make the switch. It's been a busy time, filled with meeting new people. I've come to understand that real estate operates on the principles of supply and demand, just like any other business. Most of my time has been spent in Carbondale, listing investment properties. Oh, and I also managed to purchase another property for our Safe Haven Properties venture. This acquisition was particularly meaningful as it greatly assisted a young woman in search of a home for herself and her daughter. Perhaps these blog posts will go unread, but they will serve as a personal record of my journey. And yes, the purchase was made through REMAX.

Officially with REMAX

Well, by the end of the week ill officially be with REMAX. It was a tough decision for the sole reason I loved the company i was with before. Robbie and the rest of the staff at J David Thompson in Marion was very good to me. I wish them the best!

My First Blog

My blogs are going to be about a variety of topics, some personal and a few about real estate. This first one is on the personal side. A little about me and my family. My wife is Michele Russell, we exchanged vows back in 2003. We share four children, 7 dogs, 5 cats, 15 goats, and numerous chickens. I was born in California and so was Michele, i guess you call it fate we first met here in Southern Illinois over 30 years after leaving the West coast. Im going to make it a thing to end each blog with some type of quote pertaining what i write. So here we go.
